Backend Software Developer (PHP/Laravel)

Location: Remote within Turkey; product and development offices are located in Istanbul and Ankara.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with Laravel.
• Build multi-tenant SaaS features with reliable data isolation and tenant-aware functionality.
• Develop clean, tested, maintainable code using modular monolith and Domain-Driven Design principles.
• Optimize database queries and Redis caching, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation and architectural decisions.
• Use AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience and strong hands-on Laravel experience.
• Solid PHP knowledge, including modern PHP 8.x practices, strict types, and readonly classes.
• Experience with package-driven development, modular monolith architecture, Domain-Driven Design, MySQL, Redis, Git, and code quality tools such as PHPStan or Rector.
• Experience contributing to large-scale projects and collaborating within technical teams.
• English proficiency sufficient to analyze and understand technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Docker, Vue.js, Go, multi-tenant SaaS architectures, Elasticsearch, NoSQL technologies, or Laravel Horizon and Redis queues.
• Familiarity with Symfony and AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
