Cybersecurity Lead Engineer (TS/SCI)

What you will do

• Lead SOC analysts and engineers, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development.
• Oversee 24/7 security monitoring and incident response across triage, escalation, containment, eradication, and post-incident analysis.
• Conduct threat hunting, malware analysis, and deep-dive investigations into escalated incidents.
• Manage and optimize SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and related security tools.
• Develop SOC policies, procedures, playbooks, automation, KPIs, dashboards, and executive security reports.
• Support SOC strategy, security audits, tabletop exercises, risk assessments, and CMMC and ISO 27001 accreditations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of cybersecurity operations experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDP/IDS, CASB/SASE, Nessus, Burp Suite, firewalls, and related security technologies.
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Eligibility under U.S. ITAR and EAR export-control requirements is required: applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person or be able to obtain the necessary export authorizations.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, GIAC GCIH, or CompTIA Security+ certification.
