Product Manager, HPC/AI Software

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week in an HPE office in Spring, Texas; Bloomington, Minnesota; Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; or Ft. Collins, Colorado, United States.

Salary: Annual base salary of USD 111,500–211,500 in Colorado and USD 106,000–243,000 in Minnesota, Texas, and Wisconsin. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Own product areas and features within HPC/AI system management and orchestration software.
• Define requirements, prioritize features, and contribute to the product roadmap and portfolio direction.
• Create and maintain product requirements documents, user stories, feature specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with software architects, engineering, QA, DevOps, and other product managers to deliver scalable software solutions.
• Gather customer, partner, and stakeholder requirements related to deployment, monitoring, orchestration, and lifecycle management.
• Support release readiness, documentation, training, customer engagement, and ongoing product improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software product management or a related role such as engineering or technical program management.
• Experience with HPC, AI/ML platforms, distributed systems, or infrastructure software.
• Strong understanding of HPC/AI systems, infrastructure software, and orchestration concepts such as cluster management, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into product specifications and collaborate across engineering, architecture, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
