Associate Analyst, Falcon Complete ( ) (Remote)

Location: Remote within Japan; Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka are listed as Japan remote locations. Australia-based Japanese speakers are also welcome. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Conduct incident handling across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Perform basic static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Develop and improve incident detection processes and countermeasures.
• Investigate compromises using computer and network forensic analysis.
• Prepare recommendations and findings for customer management.
• Manage internal programs or teams and contribute to industry thought leadership through blogs, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of related experience and the ability to complete technical tasks without supervision.
• Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations involving targeted threats such as advanced persistent threats, organized crime, and hacktivists.
• Knowledge of system administration, secure network architecture, network operations, forensic tools, network protocols, and network log analysis.
• Experience with C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.
• Currently located in Japan for remote work within Japan, or based in Australia; visa sponsorship is not available.
• High business-level to native Japanese proficiency, including written Japanese, is required. Business-level English is preferred but not mandatory.
