Azure Data Architect (Cosmos DB / GenAI / RAG)

What you will do

• Design enterprise data architectures based on Microsoft Azure.
• Architect production-grade data platforms for GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI applications.
• Design data models, storage solutions, integration processes, and ingestion architectures for structured and unstructured data.
• Architect Azure Cosmos DB solutions focused on scalability, performance, reliability, and availability.
• Build metadata-driven and configuration-based ingestion frameworks using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and other Azure services.
• Document architectures and technical specifications, modernize existing platforms, and collaborate with Development, Data Engineering, and AI Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, or Cloud Data Architect.
• Deep expertise in Azure Cosmos DB and hands-on experience designing enterprise data platforms on Microsoft Azure.
• Production experience architecting data solutions for RAG, GenAI, and/or Agentic AI applications.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ingestion pipelines, data integration patterns, and structured and unstructured data architectures.
• Ability to make independent architectural and technical decisions while addressing security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
• English proficiency at C1 level is required.

Nice to have

• Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, or Lakehouse architecture experience.
• Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance, SQL Server, T-SQL, or Azure Functions.
• Experience modernizing enterprise data platforms.
