Internship AI & Software Engineering (AI)

Location: Culligaanlaan 3, Machelen, Flanders, Belgium

What you will do

• Contribute to real software engineering and digital transformation projects from the start of the internship.
• Explore how AI is transforming software engineering, product development, and organisational ways of working.
• Help design, integrate, and develop intelligent digital solutions within multidisciplinary teams.
• Work with AI, automation, and modern engineering practices to create business value.
• Participate in an agile environment while developing technical and professional skills.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in software engineering, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Curiosity about AI-native product development and intelligent automation.
• Analytical, pragmatic, hands-on approach with an ability to solve business and technical challenges collaboratively.
• Fluent Dutch or French and professional English required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Java or .NET.
• Affinity with cloud platforms, DevOps, data and AI tooling, or API and integration concepts.
• Experience or interest in frontend, full-stack development, automation frameworks, or agile methodologies.
