Nurse Team Lead - Clin Rev

Location: Remote within the United States; listed location Houston, TX. Shift: 10:30am–7:00pm.

Base salary: $74,880 annually for LVN/LPN Team Lead or $85,280 annually for RN Team Lead. Performance-based bonuses, incentive pay, or commissions may also apply.

What you will do

• Balance clinical case review production with team lead responsibilities and conduct assigned reviews while meeting productivity targets.
• Monitor staffing levels, assign cases, and ensure turnaround times, service-level agreements, and regulatory requirements are met.
• Coordinate physician reviewer notifications and act as a liaison between frontline nurses and management.
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching and support, resolve issues, and promote consistent service quality.
• Audit clinical review cases, identify training needs, conduct one-on-ones, and recommend process improvements.
• Provide secondary nursing management coverage, handle escalated provider requests, and collaborate with compliance, quality, human resources, and client personnel.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current active, unrestricted RN or LVN/LPN license in a U.S. state or territory required.
• At least 2 years of Utilization Management experience required.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, written, presentation, leadership, motivational, and critical-thinking skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant remote location and potentially provide after-hours on-call support.

Nice to have

• Experience in quality management, acute care, or managed care.
• Experience with team improvement projects, coaching quality and productivity, and HealthHelp products and services.
• Knowledge of Visio, AVAYA, and ADP Workforce Now.
