Location: On-site in Singapore, Central Singapore

Develops autonomous cleaning robots with integrated robotics middleware, embedded control systems, and physical hardware.
What you will do
- Develop, test, and maintain ROS-based drivers for lidars, cameras, ToF sensors, and other robot peripherals.
- Profile driver performance and optimize interfaces for low latency and high throughput.
- Debug CAN, USB, UART, I2C, and SPI communication across real-world robot operating conditions.
- Design communication bridges and custom protocols between the ROS layer, IPCs, and MCU-based embedded controllers.
- Own integration testing, protocol conformance, regression coverage, and the bootloader update pipeline.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python development on Linux.
- Experience with ROS1 or ROS2.
- Familiarity with CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, STM32 or similar ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, JTAG, or SWD for hardware debugging.
- Availability to work on-site in Singapore, Central Singapore.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems.
- Experience optimizing software for embedded hardware such as Jetson or ARM platforms.
