VP, Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Shape product, technology, and market strategy with the CEO, product leadership, and the executive team.
• Build alignment across the executive team and establish shared strategic direction.
• Explain engineering priorities and changes clearly through writing, presentations, and organizational communication.
• Lead and continually improve a high-performing engineering organization, including its structure, goals, and ways of working.
• Guide the organization through AI-driven changes in software development, delivery, and operations.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering organizations through large-scale changes in direction.
• Recent hands-on experience shipping software with AI tools.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience improving executive teams.
• Experience working at a larger company with the risk tolerance and adaptability of an early-stage startup.
• Experience leading distributed teams and communicating effectively in writing and in person.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship and visa transfers are not available.

• Experience with developer tools and familiarity with hirify.global.
