Senior Software Development Lead (PEGA)

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; hybrid workplace

Digital engineering department focused on enterprise software development and PEGA application delivery.

What you will do

• Design and develop enterprise PEGA applications according to PEGA best practices.
• Configure and optimize workflows, case management, and business rules within PEGA.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, MQ, and APIs.
• Conduct unit testing and support system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and optimize performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and project managers while maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in PEGA application development.
• Advanced proficiency in PEGA PRPC and the PEGA Platform.
• Strong experience with workflow automation, business process management, and PEGA integrations.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, MQ, Kafka, SQL, background processing, and file listener configuration.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting PEGA applications, performance tuning, and using Postman for API testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

Nice to have

• CSA or CSSA PEGA certification.
• Experience in healthcare, banking, or insurance.
• Exposure to DevOps tools for PEGA deployment.
• Knowledge of Java for custom integrations.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and certifications in REST API integration or BPM.
