AI/ML Engineer (NLP)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, USA, with Wednesdays working from home

Salary: $220,000–$300,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Create and ship differentiated AI experiences for sales teams.
• Shape the AI/ML strategy in collaboration with founders and executives.
• Identify user needs suited to AI/ML solutions and frame problems with product leaders.
• Prototype LLM-powered experiences and develop them into robust product features.
• Help build the AI/ML engineering team by recruiting and mentoring teammates.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in computer science, AI, or applied mathematics.
• 7+ years of experience building AI/ML products in NLP domains.
• Strong understanding of deep learning AI/ML frameworks or cloud services.
• Hands-on ML Ops experience.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, with remote work available on Wednesdays.

Nice to have

• Experience leading AI/ML product initiatives.
• Publications in applied AI/ML scientific journals.
• Experience with open-source and vendor solutions in the LLM Ops space, including LangChain, Llama, or Pinecone.
