Internship Global Client Tax Services

Location: CDR (Amsterdam - Cedar), Netherlands; hybrid working. During the internship, enrollment at a Dutch university is mandatory, or at an EU university for EU passport holders.

hirify.global supports ING's international banking operations, including client tax reporting and financial crime and fraud prevention activities.

What you will do

• Support reviews of client tax documentation and client classifications.
• Assist with FATCA/CRS, DAC6, CESOP, and US Withholding Tax reporting activities.
• Analyse data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and compliance risks.
• Help improve reporting processes and prepare internal guidance, training, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and IT colleagues on change initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's or final-year Bachelor's programme in Law, Tax, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in financial regulation, compliance, and/or tax.
• Comfortable working with data and analytical tasks.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
• Clear communication in English.
• Mandatory enrollment at a Dutch university, or at an EU university for EU passport holders, throughout the internship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel, Power BI, or basic SQL.
