Senior Android Developer

Location: Hybrid position in Warsaw, Poland, with four days at the office and one day working from home

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support product features for the Android application.
• Enhance existing functionality while maintaining performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code and create custom UI elements and animations.
• Use profiling tools to identify and resolve bottlenecks and memory leaks.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in Scrum team activities.
• Improve development processes, tools, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of commercial Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin, OOP principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with custom UI elements, complex UI and animations, multithreading, and Dagger2.
• Experience writing readable unit tests and using code profiling tools.
• English proficiency at least pre-intermediate level.
• Ability and desire to work independently.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of reactive programming and functional programming.
• Experience with UI tests, Jetpack Compose UI, Kotlin Flows, and coroutines.
