What you will do
- Run monthly credit risk data production processes, including data loading, validation, anomaly detection, and evidence collection for data quality controls.
- Investigate production and data quality issues directly in SQL and identify whether root causes are in source data or recent releases.
- Lead business and IT alignment, testing, entity onboarding, and platform migration activities.
- Support BCBS239 credit risk data use cases, Definition of Default delivery, and onboarding newly acquired entities into the Finance & Risk data platform.
- Implement practical improvements to automate and stabilise the platform.
Requirements
- Senior experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or data product lead in Finance & Risk data within a bank.
- Strong hands-on SQL experience for investigating and resolving data issues.
- Experience working with an operational data platform or production run function.
- Background in financial risk data, preferably credit risk, including AnaCredit, loan tapes, or IFRS 9.
- Knowledge of BCBS239 and data quality controls, with an independent and proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to work from Amsterdam and attend the office two days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience with Databricks, Azure, Python, or Power BI.
- Experience onboarding new entities or migrating data platforms in a banking environment.
