Specialist Risk Management (EP2 BE) (KYC/AML)

What you will do

• Perform KYC and risk assessments covering AML, KYC, and credit risk.
• Onboard new and existing merchants, verify documentation, and request additional information when required.
• Conduct searches in sanctions lists and card-scheme databases.
• Investigate information that may indicate money laundering, fraud, or violations of laws, policies, or acquirer requirements.
• Support other teams with risk-related topics and contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Participate in training and regularly evaluate the efficiency of risk-management processes.

Requirements

• English proficiency in written and verbal communication is required.
• At least one year of experience in KYC, AML, AML compliance, merchant risk assessment, or financial services is required.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, logical thinking, and a problem-solving approach.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Ability to interpret and implement changes in risk-related requirements and policies.
• Ability to work with various computer systems and programs.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in additional European languages such as French, Dutch, Spanish, or Portuguese.
