TL;DR
Mid-Level OSINT Analyst (Defense Tech): Conducting background checks, sanctions screening, and due diligence for candidates, companies, partnerships, and acquisitions with an accent on open-source research, risk identification, and information verification. Focus on connecting indicators across public registries, corporate databases, media, and social networks while producing structured assessments of security, reputational, compliance, and geopolitical risks.
Location: Warsaw, Kyiv, and Lviv

What you will do
- Conduct OSINT-based background checks for candidates in Ukraine and other European countries.
- Research and verify information using public registries, corporate databases, media, social networks, and other professional sources.
- Perform sanctions, watchlist, adverse media, and reputational risk screening.
- Identify security, insider, compliance, reputational, and geopolitical risks.
- Prepare structured reports with key findings, risk indicators, and overall assessments.
- Support mergers and acquisitions and partnership due diligence while handling sensitive information confidentially.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in OSINT, background screening, due diligence, investigations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of OSINT tools, public registries, corporate databases, social media, and open-source resources.
- Experience conducting background checks on individuals and companies in Ukraine and other European countries.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to connect information across large volumes of data.
- Experience with link analysis, digital footprint analysis, social media investigations, and multi-source verification.
- English at B2 level or higher.
Nice to have
- Higher education in IT, analytics, cybersecurity, intelligence, law, or a related field.
- Experience in intelligence analysis or related intelligence activities.
- Experience verifying and geolocating visual content, including images and videos, using open-source methods and tools.
- Experience conducting investigations informed by intelligence analysis.
