Performance Marketing Manager (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Set and deliver the performance marketing strategy and annual plan across paid and organic media, search, social, events, and emerging channels.
• Direct campaign execution across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, other social platforms, and AI-assisted and organic search.
• Manage media budgets, channel targets, forecasts, cost per qualified enquiry, conversion, return on investment, and marketing contribution.
• Define tracking, attribution, dashboards, and reporting for spend, reach, enquiries, conversion, and new business contribution.
• Lead and develop the performance marketing team while managing agencies and coordinating with marketing, distribution, digital, data, risk, and compliance teams.
• Ensure marketing activity is appropriately targeted, clear, fair, non-misleading, and compliant with Consumer Duty, financial promotion, data protection, brand, and approval requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrable performance marketing experience, including business cases for scaling digital media.
• Practical expertise in paid and organic search, paid social, performance measurement, and conversion optimisation.
• Evidence of improving enquiry volume, quality, or cost and demonstrating commercial contribution.
• Ability to interpret performance data, forecast results, assess attribution limitations, and recommend investment decisions.
• Experience leading specialists and managing agencies, including performance and development.
• Understanding of financial promotions, Consumer Duty, and data protection in a regulated business.

Nice to have

• Experience in wealth management, investment management, or another regulated financial services market.
• Experience with event demand generation and AI-assisted search or content discovery.
