Malware Researcher (Android)

What you will do

• Conduct in-depth Android malware research, reverse engineering, and static and dynamic analysis.
• Analyze Android applications for malicious behavior and identify emerging malware trends and attack vectors.
• Write detection rules and develop automation for Android malware identification.
• Document research findings and contribute to threat intelligence reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues and share technical knowledge across departments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience researching Android, Windows, Mac, or Linux, or working in low-level reverse engineering or development.
• Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C/C++.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools and decompilers such as JADX, JEB, IDA Pro, or Ghidra.
• Familiarity with instrumentation tools such as Frida and debugging tools such as GDB or LLDB.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.
• A valid international government-issued photo ID is required for identity verification and global client interaction.

Nice to have

• Android development experience and familiarity with Android application security.
• Knowledge of Android frameworks including Flutter, React Native, or Unity.
• Familiarity with the Android malware ecosystem and its techniques.
• Experience building automated tools.
• Experience writing detailed reports in English.
