Regional Strategy and Partnership Manager (Malaysia) (Semiconductor)

Location: Kulim, Malaysia. Based in Malaysia; travel required 20% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Translate global strategies into regional opportunities and use regional trends to shape global strategies in alignment with business units.
• Drive strategic regional initiatives and programs through coordination with senior management, functions, and business units.
• Improve administrative cadence and decision-making for regional initiatives.
• Originate, negotiate, and execute ecosystem partnerships with Malaysian government agencies to accelerate new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with public stakeholders through public-private partnerships.
• Provide strategic direction and core messaging for internal and external communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science-related discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in public-private partnerships, strategic operations, and project management.
• Experience strategizing, structuring, and negotiating internal and external partnerships with a 3–5 year planning horizon.
• Good knowledge of the high-technology and/or semiconductor industry.
• Experience working across time zones in multifunctional global teams.
• High learning agility and the ability to understand value drivers across multiple science and technology fields.
• Enterprise mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to work across functions and business units.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity in a highly matrixed organization.
• Excellent communication, influencing, stakeholder-management, and strategic-messaging skills.
