Product Manager, Cell Culture Media Services

Location: Shanghai, China; the role is based in China and supports customers and commercial teams across the country. The specific work arrangement and primary location will be confirmed during recruitment.

What you will do

• Develop and execute China's growth strategy for the Cell Culture Media Services portfolio.
• Define China-specific value propositions, portfolio positioning, and commercial priorities to support revenue and market-share growth.
• Lead service opportunities from customer needs and business cases through solution definition, contracting support, execution, and delivery.
• Build market, customer, and competitive intelligence and translate insights into portfolio priorities and investment recommendations.
• Support commercial teams with technical presentations, competitive analyses, sales tools, and training.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, research and development, marketing, commercial, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of experience in product management, program management, or a related commercial or technical function in life sciences, bioprocessing, or cell culture media.
• Knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements relevant to biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing in China.
• Experience developing and executing a growth strategy, value proposition, or portfolio plan using customer, market, and competitive data.
• Experience leading customer-facing projects or programs through cross-functional teams in a global organization.
• Professional fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in cell culture media development, rapid-response manufacturing, or analytical and stability services.
• Experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority in a matrixed global organization.
