IT Operations Technician (Fintech)

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day technical support to employees and respond to IT service requests.
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain hardware, software, operating systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Set up user accounts, support onboarding, manage access, and resolve password and login issues.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues while prioritising multiple requests.
• Test new technology, maintain technical documentation and repair records, and prepare relevant reports.
• Support network and computer security, data privacy, and electrical safety compliance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in IT support, IT operations, IT engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, problem-solving, organisational, and documentation skills.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments; Linux knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and user account administration; Active Directory or similar platforms are advantageous.
• Customer-focused communication skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple requests.

Nice to have

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications.
• Familiarity with Linux.
