Senior Developer/Lead (Ecommerce)

Location: Onsite in Midtown, New York, NY, five days a week, with occasional half-days on Fridays.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize complex features for a high-traffic, customer-facing website.
• Build scalable full-stack solutions integrating front-end and back-end components.
• Create dynamic user interfaces with React and related JavaScript frameworks.
• Manage databases and optimize queries using SQL.
• Code, review, and troubleshoot complex software solutions independently.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional full-stack web development experience, preferably in e-commerce or a comparable environment.
• Expertise in JavaScript, React, SQL, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Strong full-stack development skills and experience writing intricate, scalable code.
• Experience with database management, SQL query optimization, and complex software troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Availability for onsite work in Midtown five days per week is required.

Nice to have

• Experience working on fast-paced, high-traffic websites.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms or online customer engagement products.
• Familiarity with web security best practices and performance optimization.
