Brand Copy Lead (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 base salary per year, plus potential bonus and equity

What you will do

• Lead copy concepting for brand campaigns from initial briefs through final headlines and lines.
• Write for out-of-home, audio, podcasts, video, launch films, social, sponsorships, events, and experiential activations.
• Partner with design, brand strategy, marketing, web, product, and regional teams to create coherent campaigns for global audiences.
• Apply Deepgram’s verbal identity across websites, launches, events, advertising, email, and internal communications.
• Lead copy reviews, contribute to naming, and translate technical product information into clear, engaging language.
• Build AI-assisted writing workflows, copy playbooks, review checklists, and channel-specific specifications.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of copywriting experience, including significant brand campaign concepting.
• A portfolio demonstrating campaign ideas, headlines, and published OOH, audio, or video work.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to connect creative ideas with audience and business objectives.
• A distinctive, concise writing style with the flexibility to explain technical products to developers, enterprise buyers, and other audiences.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality, collaborate with low ego, and provide or receive constructive feedback.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience writing for developer, AI, technology, or consumer brands.
• Experience with audio advertising, scripts, conversational interfaces, or voice assistants.
• Experience with naming, verbal identity, or global and APAC markets.
