DevSecOps Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Support and mentor the development and deployment of Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, container-based deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer systems across different network environments and support deployments integrating commercial, government, and custom software.
• Analyze system requirements, compatibility, configuration, performance, and maintenance issues, then develop corrective actions.
• Secure and maintain high-performance computing architectures, including zero-trust, identity management, and encryption solutions.
• Support DevSecOps accreditation efforts, educate government personnel, and transfer technical knowledge.
• Apply SAFe principles while developing workflows and implementing and managing cloud services.

Requirements

• Secret clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and IAT-2 qualification.
• AWS DevOps certification or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience with CI/CD platforms, IaC, CaC, automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, and government cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, hybrid environments, and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, or DoD CC SRG.
• Strong knowledge of secure software development, vulnerability management, incident reporting, Linux/Unix systems, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
• Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
• Red Hat Linux or equivalent certification.
