Student Intern, Collaboration Services System Programmer (AI): Supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration services and troubleshooting issues across Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and related technologies with an accent on enterprise customer support, service monitoring, and operational improvement. Focus on investigating complex incidents, using AI tools to accelerate problem solving, and documenting reusable technical solutions.
Location: Hybrid role based at sites in San Jose and Belen, Costa Rica; unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica required.

What you will do
- Troubleshoot incidents affecting Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
- Support users with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Smartsheet, and related technologies.
- Assist conference room users through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Respond to escalated incidents and partner with engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Monitor service health and help drive incidents through resolution.
- Use AI tools, document solutions, and create knowledge articles that improve support efficiency.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, with approximately two years remaining before graduation.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies and Windows operating systems.
- Basic understanding of database concepts and administration.
- Advanced troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting or administering SharePoint.
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Bash scripting and programming.
- Familiarity with automation, process improvement, and technical documentation.
- Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Gemini to research and solve technical challenges.
