TL;DR
Information Technology Intern (IT Systems/Cloud): Supporting the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems, enterprise applications, networks, and data center infrastructure with an accent on cloud, database, and cross-functional operations. Focus on resolving hardware and software issues, improving technical processes, documenting systems, and applying Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Location: San Jose, Costa Rica; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned site and off-site work

What you will do
- Assist with IT system configuration and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Support enterprise application monitoring, maintenance, and process improvements.
- Participate in data center operations and IT infrastructure maintenance.
- Help implement cloud, network, and database solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation while applying Agile and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Active bachelor's student in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 0–1 years of hands-on IT experience; or a master's student in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field without prior professional experience.
- Willingness to remain a student worker for at least one year.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
- Interest in IT systems, enterprise applications, infrastructure, and cross-functional technology projects.
Nice to have
- Python and SQL development skills.
- Knowledge of system administration and database management.
- Experience with troubleshooting, software testing, Agile practices, or DevOps concepts.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and React.
- Software development experience and strong communication skills.
