Radar Systems Engineer III

Location: Moorestown, New Jersey, United States. The position is contingent upon contract award.

What you will do

• Perform radar system analysis and support the design, assessment, and validation of advanced radar capabilities.
• Develop system requirements and define radar system architecture using modeling and trade-study techniques.
• Model radar performance and signal-processing concepts, including AESA functions and beam-forming.
• Plan verification activities and create test plans for radar-system validation.
• Support end-to-end subsystem integration and coordinate with systems, software, hardware, integration, and test teams.
• Ensure requirements are defined, traced, verified, and delivered according to program objectives.

Requirements

• Expertise in radar signal processing, algorithm development, AESA hardware, and beam-forming.
• Extensive experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and performance analysis.
• Experience defining and verifying requirements and developing system architecture with DOORS/MBSE and SysML.
• Experience with end-to-end subsystem integration and radar-system verification test planning.

Nice to have

• Experience with MBSE and system architecture tools such as DOORS/DNG, Cameo, or Rhapsody.
• Background in radar, RF/EW, sensors, communications, or other complex defense-related environments.
• Exposure to Python, C++, Simulink, or related engineering tools.
• Experience supporting integration, test, verification, and validation activities.
