Senior TORQ/SOAR Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote from Virginia, United States. Short-duration domestic or international travel to customers or hirify.global offices may be required.

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, deployment, and optimization of TORQ SOAR solutions, including playbooks and incident response workflows.
• Develop graph-based and agentic automation workflows using advanced automation logic and context management.
• Integrate TORQ with Elastic Stack, Splunk, CrowdStrike, cloud workloads, and containerized platforms.
• Deploy and manage TORQ across public cloud, on-premises, Kubernetes, and Docker environments.
• Use Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Ansible to streamline deployment and maintenance.
• Provide troubleshooting, documentation, client updates, technical recommendations, and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a U.S. Passport.
• Must hold a Secret Clearance at minimum.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to support short, planned domestic or international on-site travel.
• Experience developing and deploying software in production environments.
• Experience with enterprise security operations, detection and response, SIEM, endpoint security, and cloud-native telemetry is valuable for the role.

Nice to have

• Hands-on TORQ SOAR experience and TORQ certification.
• Java, Go, or Python scripting and workflow automation experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as CI/CD, DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and observability.
• Automated testing and monitoring practices for workflow reliability.
• Experience supporting U.S. Federal or enterprise clients and mentoring technical teams.
