Front-End Team Leader (Quantum Computing)

Location: Remote; role associated with Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a global team of front-end engineers.
• Own the architecture and technical vision of complex web applications.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance, maintainable user interfaces.
• Collaborate with backend, product, UX, and systems engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making while contributing hands-on to development.
• Drive best practices in code quality, testing, performance, accessibility, and execution in a technically complex environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring front-end engineers.
• Strong expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript, with React required.
• Deep understanding of front-end architecture, state management, component-based design, and complex interactive applications.
• Experience with code reviews, testing strategies, CI/CD, backend APIs including REST, gRPC, and WebSockets.
• Excellent verbal and written English, communication, leadership, and collaboration skills in a cross-geography environment.

Nice to have

• Experience optimizing performance in large-scale front-end applications.
• Experience with D3, Canvas, or WebGL visualization libraries.
• Experience with complex B2B or deep-tech products.
• Familiarity with Python or backend technologies.
• Experience with real-time data systems or hardware interaction.
