React Frontend Engineer (80-100%)

Location: Hybrid in Oeiras/Porto Salvo, Portugal; 6 days of home office per month at 100% workload

What you will do

• Build and improve product-focused features for financial web applications using React and shared UI components.
• Create fast, accessible, consistent, and scalable user interfaces.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and the wider product team on product goals and the technical roadmap.
• Own frontend implementation from initial idea through launch and maintain high-quality application code.
• Document and test the systems you build.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience with React, TypeScript, and frontend development.
• Knowledge of testing principles, CSS, and CSS-in-JS or Tailwind.
• Strong product sense and attention to visual and interaction details.
• Ability to write, review, and maintain clear, understandable application code.

Nice to have

• Experience with large and complex TypeScript projects and scalable frontend architecture.
• Experience integrating backend APIs and working with real-time or dynamic data.
• Experience designing REST APIs, using Node.js, or working in finance.
