What you will do

• Add backend features to customer and campsite-focused sites using Python and Django
• Collaborate with team members and Product Owner to scope and implement backend features
• Suggest and implement architectural changes as the monolith is decomposed
• Play a key role in improving development practices and accelerating the team

Requirements

• Must have 5-7 years experience as a backend developer
• Proficiency in Python, Django, microservices, and event-driven architecture
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile development teams
• Must be located in the UK for remote work

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OTA sector
• Experience with continuous delivery and feature flags
• Understanding of SOLID principles and modern backend development practices
• Experience with internal and third-party APIs
• Degree in a related discipline
