What you will do
- Add backend features to customer and campsite-focused sites using Python and Django
- Collaborate with team members and Product Owner to scope and implement backend features
- Suggest and implement architectural changes as the monolith is decomposed
- Play a key role in improving development practices and accelerating the team
Requirements
- Must have 5-7 years experience as a backend developer
- Proficiency in Python, Django, microservices, and event-driven architecture
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile development teams
- Must be located in the UK for remote work
Nice to have
- Knowledge of OTA sector
- Experience with continuous delivery and feature flags
- Understanding of SOLID principles and modern backend development practices
- Experience with internal and third-party APIs
- Degree in a related discipline
