Backend Software Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Argentina; candidates must be based in La Plata, Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, or Mendoza. Flexible remote work is combined with one day per week at the nearest office.

What you will do

• Develop and implement backend tools and systems.
• Build sophisticated products with high availability, performance, and concurrency in mind.
• Analyze existing code, perform refactoring, and conduct code reviews.
• Research technical approaches and participate in team discussions and quarterly roadmap planning.
• Detect and resolve production issues while improving system reliability and availability.
• Apply development best practices from technical analysis and solution design through production monitoring.

Requirements

• Experience as a software developer focused on backend development.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Fluency in PHP, Python, or Java.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Initiative and the ability to take on projects autonomously.
• Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work and interest in emerging AI capabilities.

• Previous DevOps experience.
