Configuration Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Vilnius, Lithuania or Sofia, Bulgaria

Annual base salary: €26,500–€30,000 gross in Bulgaria and €28,000–€36,000 gross in Lithuania

What you will do

• Configure, maintain, test, and troubleshoot merchant production accounts in the payment gateway environment.
• Set up payment methods, banking information, currencies, MCC codes, terminals, account profiles, banks, cards, and alternative payment methods.
• Execute configuration requests and create new client accounts based on complete and clearly defined requirements.
• Investigate server logs, errors, technical issues, and production incidents, escalating them to relevant product and technical teams.
• Write and follow client- and partner-specific procedures and respond to technical configuration inquiries.
• Track issues through resolution while coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Ability to own and handle repetitive technical configuration tasks with high attention to detail.
• Technical affinity, fast learning, multitasking, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to configure banks, cards, alternative payment methods, and technical changes for existing accounts.
• Understanding of API documentation, server logs, and client-server or server-to-server communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• English required for written and spoken communication with geographically dispersed colleagues, clients, and suppliers.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the online payment industry.
• Experience with alternative payment methods and third-party providers.
• Experience creating HTTPS requests and queries for REST APIs.
