Freelance In-Person Event Host

Location: On-site in Sofia, Bulgaria; open only to candidates already based in Sofia

What you will do

• Host engaging, team-building social impact events that support nonprofit causes.
• Welcome, engage, and inspire participants during in-person experiences.
• Present events in partnership with nonprofit organizations or lead events independently.
• Use storytelling to help volunteers understand the impact of their participation.
• Deliver clear instructions and guide volunteers through interactive activities.
• Attend 1–4 preparation meetings before each event, depending on complexity.

Requirements

• Based in Sofia, Bulgaria and available to work on a contract-per-event basis, including preparation time.
• Fluent English.
• Strong experience in event hosting, facilitation, and emceeing.
• Experience engaging large and small groups, managing group dynamics, and keeping events flowing.
• Excellent public speaking, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Energetic, charismatic, positive, adaptable, and able to solve problems during live events.
