Senior Principal Platform Lead || AI & Agentic Systems

What you will do

• Own the vision, roadmap, and end-to-end execution of the Internal Developer Platform.
• Build service catalogues, self-service scaffolding, golden paths, developer portals, and CI/CD integrations.
• Define the developer experience for the Nexus platform from service creation through production observability.
• Integrate authentication and authorization services and partner with IAM, infrastructure, and SRE teams.
• Measure and improve adoption through onboarding metrics, platform NPS, time-to-first-deployment, DORA metrics, surveys, and usage analytics.
• Influence platform architecture, collaborate with distributed product teams, and technically guide senior platform engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or developer-tooling engineering, including at least 3 years in a senior, staff individual contributor, or technical lead role.
• Hands-on experience owning an Internal Developer Platform or developer portal such as Backstage, Port, Cortex, or an equivalent.
• Production infrastructure experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Crossplane, CI/CD, secrets management, and observability.
• Experience shipping golden paths, service templates, and CI/CD standardization at enterprise scale.
• Experience with Go, React or Next.js, Kafka or RedPanda, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes on AKS.
• Clear communication with engineering leaders and product directors in large, distributed engineering organizations.
