Salary: $101,600–$152,500 annually

What you will do

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models across multiple business domains.
• Create scalable models for transactional systems, analytics, machine learning, AI workloads, cloud platforms, data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, and streaming architectures.
• Develop canonical data models, business information models, semantic layers, taxonomies, hierarchies, and shared business definitions.
• Design data foundations for AI, RAG applications, semantic search, knowledge management, ontologies, and knowledge graphs.
• Establish modeling standards, naming conventions, architecture patterns, traceability, governance, and data quality practices.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, analytics, governance, AI, and business teams; lead architecture reviews and mentor other practitioners.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data modeling, information architecture, or enterprise data architecture.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience creating conceptual, logical, and physical models for large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of relational modeling, normalization, dimensional modeling, analytical schema design, SQL, and database architecture.
• Experience with enterprise business domains, complex data integration, cloud-based data platforms, and modern data architectures.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical information models and align business and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Knowledge of Data Vault, Kimball, Inmon, data mesh, or domain-driven design.
• Experience with metadata management, data catalogs, lineage platforms, graph databases, semantic technologies, RDF, or knowledge graphs.
• Experience supporting AI/ML data requirements, enterprise governance, or master data management programs.
