Software Engineer, 2D (AI)

Location: Singapore office; permanent onsite position

Base salary: S$61,900–S$92,900 SGD gross annually

hirify.global develops a widely used game engine and tools for games, XR, and 3D applications across industries including automotive, manufacturing, and healthcare.

What you will do

• Build and maintain 2D features in the hirify.global Editor and runtime using clear, maintainable C#.
• Develop structured APIs and tool definitions that enable LLM agents to operate tilemaps, sprite editing, 2D animation, and other 2D tools.
• Extend automation into test coverage for shipped 2D features and catch regressions before release.
• Investigate and fix bugs reported by the hirify.global creator commhirify.global.
• Evaluate agent performance against real creator workflows and improve the supporting tooling.
• Collaborate with the Singapore 2D team and engineering teams across hirify.global.

Requirements

• Programming experience in C# or another object-oriented language.
• Curiosity about LLM capabilities and limitations, supported by hands-on experience.
• Willingness to learn C++ and work in new areas of the codebase.
• Strong problem-solving skills and persistence in debugging.
• Clear written communication and a habit of asking questions early.
• Professional English proficiency is required for frequent verbal and written communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.

Nice to have

• Experience using hirify.global through professional, academic, or personal projects.
• Familiarity with prompting, tool calling, or agent frameworks.
• Python or scripting experience.
