QA Engineer (Playwright)

What you will do

• Design and implement automated tests for frontend, backend, and API flows using Playwright with TypeScript or C#.
• Test microservices-based systems, including dependencies, service interactions, release sequencing, and backend workflows.
• Validate Azure and event-driven workflows, including Service Bus topics and related integrations.
• Coordinate release readiness and determine testing priorities across the engineering team.
• Combine automation with manual and exploratory testing while improving sustainable manual-testing practices.
• Use AI-assisted tools for test creation, maintenance, triage, and analysis.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in QA, test automation, software engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong experience with test automation across frontend and API testing.
• Experience with Playwright or a similar modern automation framework.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript, C#, or another language used for automation.
• Practical understanding of microservices release coordination, APIs, backend workflows, and Azure or other cloud environments.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with developers and stakeholders, and balance quality, speed, and pragmatism.

• Experience improving QA processes for a growing team.
• Experience with event-driven or message-based systems and testing infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration.
• Experience using AI tools for testing, analysis, or maintenance.
• Background in product-oriented engineering environments or security-related and data-sensitive systems.
