Technical Designer (Warhammer 40,000)

What you will do

• Ensure the technical accuracy and integrity of Warhammer 40,000 rules across all publications.
• Develop and maintain points and efficiency calculations for game mechanics.
• Create automated testing and validation tools to improve rules quality and development efficiency.
• Establish and contribute to standards for clear, precise, and consistent rules writing.
• Collaborate with Rules Designers, Editors, and game developers to integrate technical solutions into the rules-writing process.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of and passion for the Warhammer 40,000 game system.
• Ability to communicate complex game mechanics with exceptional clarity.
• Highly analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, curious, and adaptable approach to quality improvement.
• Ability to work full time onsite in Nottingham, UK.
