Lead Processing Development Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own the architecture and operation of the SmartVista FrontEnd and BackOffice processing ecosystem, including interfaces, HSM, and scheme connectivity.
• Lead processing engineers, define engineering standards, manage major incidents, and coordinate vendor, internal, and card-scheme responses.
• Map authorization, clearing, settlement, disputes, reconciliation, reporting, release, and monitoring processes; drive remediation of gaps and manual workarounds.
• Deliver card products and services for Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, American Express, and other schemes, including certification, upgrades, releases, and technical documentation.
• Design monitoring, dashboards, health checks, synthetic transactions, alerting, KPIs, and SLAs for processing and back-office operations.
• Automate reconciliation, settlement, testing, deployment, monitoring, and release management; apply AI to anomaly detection, alerting, root-cause analysis, and scheme-specification analysis.

Requirements

• At least two years in a senior, lead, or architect role owning a processing platform and leading engineers.
• Strong practical SmartVista FrontEnd and/or BackOffice experience; comparable Way4 or TranzWare experience may be considered.
• Hands-on knowledge of card processing, including authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, reconciliation, ISO 8583, Visa and Mastercard scheme rules, and certification.
• Automation experience with Python, SQL/PL/SQL, Bash, CI/CD tools, test automation, API testing, Oracle DB, WebLogic, Linux, and REST/SOAP services.
• Experience applying AI or ML in production, plus knowledge of EMV, 3-D Secure, tokenization, mobile payments, HSM, key management, and PCI DSS.
• Fluent English at B2+ level is required for communication with card schemes, vendors, and international teams.
