App Engineer - Discovery & Consideration (all genders)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work

Salary: €60,000–€70,000 yearly

What you will do

• Implement new features for the mobile app using Dart and Flutter.
• Build high-performance components and features that improve UI/UX and conversion rates.
• Develop complex frontend logic and maintain efficient, structured, and reliable code.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, QA, designers, and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and deliver features.
• Contribute to agile retrospectives and improve team processes.

Requirements

• Extensive frontend development experience across multiple frameworks.
• Extensive experience with Flutter and strong expertise in UI development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and implement complex features with limited oversight.
• Experience working in an English-speaking environment.

Nice to have

• Design awareness and close collaboration experience with designers.
• Familiarity with gRPC and Go in a shop backend environment.
• Expertise in UI and animation development.
