TL;DR
Electrical Engineering Experts (AI) (Circuit Design/Electronics): Designing and validating realistic electrical engineering tasks for training and evaluating advanced AI agents with an accent on circuit analysis, PCB development, simulations, and technical documentation. Focus on creating reproducible reference solutions, reviewing AI-generated designs, and identifying circuit faults, design inconsistencies, and missing requirements.
Location: Fully remote from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, or Uruguay
Compensation: US$30–60 per hour

What you will do
- Design realistic electrical engineering tasks covering electronics development, circuit analysis, and electrical systems design.
- Create and review electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, PCB layouts, and technical specifications.
- Develop tasks involving analog and digital circuit design, component selection, and electrical system optimization.
- Prepare and validate calculations involving voltage, current, power, impedance, and signal behavior.
- Use circuit simulation tools to analyze performance and identify design issues.
- Review AI-generated designs and analyses, create reproducible reference solutions, and establish objective evaluation criteria.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Substantial professional experience in electrical systems, electronics development, or circuit design.
- Strong understanding of circuit theory, electronic components, and electrical engineering principles.
- Experience with tools such as KiCad, Altium Designer, LTspice, Multisim, or OrCAD.
- Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, PCB layouts, and technical requirements; perform electrical calculations; and verify circuit behavior.
- Strong written English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with PCB manufacturing, testing, and design verification.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, digital electronics, signal processing, power electronics, or control systems.
- Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, or electrical engineering automation.
- Experience developing technical assessments or reviewing AI-generated engineering outputs.
