Senior Quality Technician II (Space Systems)

What you will do

• Perform final disposition of finished products, including release to stock and outgoing quality control.
• Evaluate production and test data against product requirements and operating protocols.
• Prepare deliverable product data packages and generate inspection reports.
• Program, set up, and operate automated coordinate measuring machines using CAM software.
• Perform process verification and audits, support quality-system training, and deploy quality-management procedures.
• Support electrical hardware development, prototyping, fabrication, testing, and production for electro-optical systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Experience programming and operating automated CMMs with CAM software.
• High school diploma or GED.
• For U.S. office work, eligibility under ITAR regulations is required, such as U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected status, or the ability to obtain the required authorization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AS9100 or a comparable quality-management system.
• Ability to read and interpret component and assembly drawings.
• Experience with metrology equipment and design or manufacturing environments.
• Strong documentation, auditing, communication, and computer skills.
