Team Lead, Facultative North America Operations (Insurance Operations)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid work with an expectation of three days in the office per week.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations for the Facultative North America Operations team, including workflow oversight, resource allocation, and KPI monitoring.
• Drive process optimization, operational excellence initiatives, strategic projects, and eAdmin initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of operational risks, RCSA controls, audit requirements, open issues, events, and remediation activities.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the team in leadership visits, town halls, regional calls, and business engagement activities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees through feedback, performance management, succession planning, and career development support.
• Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, employee engagement, and business continuity activities during peak periods or critical events.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in operations and the ability to lead through change.
• Strong understanding of operational controls, risk management, governance processes, and KPI management.
• Experience with coaching, performance feedback, talent development, and employee engagement leadership.
• Strategic, solution-focused mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• College degree preferred.
• Ability to meet the hybrid office attendance expectation in Mexico City three days per week.

• Experience in reinsurance, insurance, claims, or client-facing operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams.
