Principal Data Scientist (AI/Cybersecurity)

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel; full-time office work is the standard

What you will do

• Develop ML-based endpoint defense techniques and security solutions.
• Analyze large-scale data using statistical methods, programming, and data modeling.
• Decompose complex cybersecurity problems and provide actionable recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Lead end-to-end research projects from problem formulation and experimental design through implementation, analysis, and deployment.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams on production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering production-grade data science and machine learning solutions.
• Experience with deep learning and transformer-based models, including design, training, optimization, and evaluation.
• Strong Python skills and solid SQL knowledge.
• Advanced degree in machine learning, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in probability, statistics, and machine learning, with strong engineering standards for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity experience, particularly in endpoint security.
• Experience with big data platforms such as GCP.
• Familiarity with cloud-native data processing architectures and services.
