Imagery Analyst (AI/ML Training Data)

hirify.global engages imagery analysis experts for a customer project focused on drone and maritime sensor imagery used to train AI systems.

What you will do

• Review and refine machine-generated bounding boxes on still imagery from drone and maritime sensors.
• Identify and annotate objects missed by AI models.
• Apply labeling guidelines consistently and maintain accuracy across repetitive, high-volume tasks.
• Deliver annotated images within a secure Navy environment.
• Maintain reliable throughput, with compensation based on each image submission.
• Transition to annotating video frames as the project expands and document ambiguous cases or guideline questions.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) are required, or willingness to engage in the sponsorship process.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in accuracy-critical work.
• Experience with data labeling, bounding box annotation, or similar data-preparation activities.
• Familiarity with aerial, maritime, or sensor-based imagery, including daylight and thermal formats.
• Comfort using dedicated labeling software and learning new applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-volume, quality-controlled annotation environments.
• Robotics or autonomous-system data-labeling experience.
