Senior QA Engineer, Fixed Term – Toronto (QA Automation)

Location: Ontario, Canada; preferably Toronto

Salary: $45 hourly, based on a 40-hour workweek

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress, JMeter, and Postman.
• Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and act as a software testing subject matter expert.
• Conduct code reviews, assess testability, and analyze test results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive QA best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Expertise in Cypress, TypeScript, JMeter, Jest, Postman, SQL/DB, and Jira.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience writing and executing complex test cases and scripts.
• Expertise in end-to-end, API, and performance/load testing.
• Familiarity with Git, AWS CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Availability to work in Ontario, Canada; Toronto is preferred.
