Global Logistics Contract Manager (CLM)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement to work 2 days per week from an HPE office in Sofia, Bulgaria or Bucharest, Romania.

What you will do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and transform logistics and 3PL contracts, including master agreements, appendices, SOWs, amendments, standalone agreements, data privacy addendums, sustainable fuel contracts, and technology procurement agreements.
• Provide legal and commercial guidance to procurement, supply chain, finance, compliance, legal, business, and operations stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate legal, commercial, contractual, and operational risks while ensuring compliance with international, regional, and local regulations.
• Lead negotiations with logistics, transportation, technology, and other service providers and manage renewals, amendments, terminations, and disputes.
• Improve contract lifecycle management through automation, digitization, CLM tools, implementation and adoption initiatives, and AI-enabled analytics.
• Support audits, reporting, governance, playbook and policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent; LL.M. acceptable) and 7–10 years of post-qualification experience in contract management, preferably in logistics and supply chain.
• Experience drafting and negotiating logistics and 3PL contracts covering air, ocean, parcel, warehousing, and surface transport.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management transformation, including automation, digital tools, AI-driven analytics, and CLM tool implementation, configuration support, or business adoption.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, commercial awareness, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and risk-assessment skills.
• Ability to draft and implement playbooks and policies from scratch and work independently in a global, fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong understanding of contractual, commercial, and operational risks related to IT spare parts sourcing, semiconductor and electronics supply chains, technology procurement, and global supplier engagements.
• Knowledge of prevalent market practices in technology procurement and IT spare parts contracting.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools and advanced written, verbal, and presentation skills, including mastery of English drafting.
• Ability to work with global stakeholders and suppliers across multiple jurisdictions and time zones, and to collaborate closely with sourcing, procurement, business, and operations teams.

• Experience supporting global contracts functions and collaborating with sourcing, procurement, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in 3PL and logistics.
• Knowledge of procurement, supply chain operations, relevant regulatory frameworks, international contracting principles, trade laws, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled contracting tools and digital contracting platforms.
