Machine Learning Engineer (MLOps)

Location: Remote; Flex Designation: Anywhere. The posting also lists an office address in Calabasas, California.

Salary: $110,800–$166,100 annually, depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and implement an enterprise AI platform in collaboration with data scientists and IT.
• Build and maintain an MLOps technology stack for model training, monitoring, feature management, deployment, and maintenance.
• Optimize the scalability, performance, and reliability of enterprise machine learning models.
• Improve data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training workflows.
• Design, build, and maintain a secure, scalable CI/CD framework for data science teams.
• Mentor data scientists and collaborate with application teams, security, software engineering, and business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a machine learning engineer or data scientist in a big data ecosystem.
• 2–4 years of experience developing, tuning, operationalizing, and monitoring enterprise machine learning models at scale.
• 2–4 years of experience with public cloud platforms and systems, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of distributed computing, data structures, data warehousing, data mining, business analytics, and distributed or relational databases.
• Technical expertise in Python, SQL, and PySpark, with strong communication, planning, collaboration, and project management skills.

• Master’s degree or Ph.D.
• Experience taking on leadership and mentoring responsibilities while remaining hands-on.
