Staff Software Engineer, IDSM (AI/ML)

Location: Remote in the United States, Canada, or Argentina

What you will do

• Design solutions for deploying machine learning models to AWS SageMaker and Azure ML in collaboration with customers.
• Introduce a data science catalog for discovering and summarizing data science resources.
• Integrate model monitoring to provide visibility into deployment health and performance.
• Improve tagging across platform entities to strengthen discoverability and tracking.
• Expand LLM hosting capabilities for scale, performance, and logging.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering as an individual contributor.
• Extensive experience designing, building, and deploying AI and/or machine learning models across their lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience developing high-performance backend systems in distributed computing environments.
• Experience designing secure, scalable RESTful or gRPC APIs and integrating systems with frontend interfaces and third-party services.
• Experience with backend performance optimization, cloud environments, Docker, Kubernetes, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP and deploying services in cloud environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Spark, Azure ML, or AWS SageMaker.
